Member Spotlight – Tom Baskin

Tom Baskin has recently moved to the ASSP Delmarva Chapter from the Audubon Chapter in Evansville, IN. Tom has been a member of ASSP since 2013. Originally from Owensboro, KY, Tom is a graduate from Mid-Continent University with a B.S. in Business Management. He also holds a master’s in safety, Security and Emergency Management with an emphasis in safety from Eastern Kentucky University. Tom holds the Graduate Safety Professional (GSP) designation and is working towards his CSP.
Tom is a United States Marine Corps. veteran and previously worked for Delta Faucet and MPW Industrial Services and was an ASSP Audubon Chapter member.
Tom recently took a promotion within Perdue Foods as Safety Director for several Perdue business units. He and his wife Karri moved to the Salisbury area in August 2022 and are enjoying getting settled in their new home on the Delmarva peninsula.
The chapter welcomes Tom and wishes him much success in both his job and in his continued professional development within ASSP.
Jameson Huntley
Jameson Huntley has been an ASSP Delmarva Chapter member since 2018. Last month he passed the Board of Certified Safety Professional’s Associate Safety Professional exam. Originally from Massachusetts, Jameson is a 2016 graduate from Westfield State University with a B.S. in Environmental Science and was an ASSP Connecticut Valley member. Jameson is currently the Safety Manager at Burris Logistics in Federalsburg, MD. Jameson is glad to have his brain take a break from studying, but is looking forward to continuing his education and earning his Certified Safety Professional certification.
The members of the Delmarva Chapter congratulate Jameson on achieving this professional milestone and wish him only the best as he works to achieve his CSP.
